Who we are
Located in Alexandria, Virginia we created this space in a neighborhood where we were born and raised. We know this city and we want to be a staple here. No matter how much change comes, we want to make sure our roots stay grounded.
The FreeSpace group is composed of Alexandria natives, who lived on same street and the same block radius. We are friends and family who grew up together and understand the culture of this city. When the opportunity came to lease space that could be specifically geared to the betterment of the community, the team jumped on it. Our goal is to show a different light for younger generations and keep older generations feeling connected.

This is your neighborhood space
We are a boutique-style open space concept. You will always find creative’s work displayed whether in the form of art or fashion, with different lines displayed monthly. We also double as an event space for the community. We are for the community by the community and our motivation is to be a place where you feel welcome and comfortable to share your art while discovering others.
